What we found is that without written standards for the installation of jump training systems, those we inspected were inconsistent and inadequate with regards to safety. Experiential Systems began applying the standards of the Association for Challenge Course Technology ACCT , which were designed to protect against injury to skaters in dynamic situations such as this. As a result, our Dual-Rotational Jump Training Systems are stronger and more reliable than any other system on the market. All components of the system are capable of holding in excess of 5, lbs. Our waist belt and spreader bars are built by a company known for providing fall protection systems for a wide range of educational and industrial uses. Our waist belt is designed to be fully adjustable and easy to use. The overhead spreader bar is made from a light weight nylon rod, as opposed to the steel bar we have encountered. Our stainless steel rotational swivels spin on ball bearings, for a positive response when the skater is in the air performing a jump.
West Kerr Current photo. The City of Ingram is currently working to construct a sewage collection system and provide wastewater service to its residents who currently use individual septic systems. The funds would be used to replace a planned force main with a gravity line, and add Cypress Falls subdivision to Phase 1 of the project. Installing a gravity line also would allow businesses on Old Ingram Loop and many others in the downtown area to tie onto the system.
The hook mouth diameter is up to inches, which can be applied to a wider range of closet wardrobe rods. The hangers can save 80% of the wardrobe space and keep the clothes neat, no wrinkles. It is a perfect cloth organizer for closet ://
The Brown Studio Bike Station is an inventive new company that specializes in bike storage for transit hubs. It was built as a prefabricated module that could be mass produced and easily adapted to various locations. The materiality and structure emphasizes the technology driven branding of the company. It led to an exploration in material density, overlap, and patterning from which the final products emerged.
Both pieces display a frenetic overlapping of material that serves as a visual barrier and a graphic element. The artwork was created from 5 tones of turquoise and gray yarn, tied into a pattern around nail points at the perimeter. The negative space reveals the phrase “be still”; fitting for a mediation space. The chosen color palette enhances the calming message. The freestanding partition, composed of several hundred feet of white ribbon, allows for visual privacy and intricate lighting and shadow.
It boasts a steel frame, 4 operable windows, and an off-center pivot door. A feature element to this design is the wheel-operated gear system that locks and releases the door. Above is a steel and glass balcony railing to match. Design, Fabrication The design and form of the light is a direct expression of the fabrication process.

This charming platformer took a familiar concept 3D platforming, like Super Mario 64 and adapted it to the VR medium with some really awesome results. Games like Edge of Nowhere push it to new heights by leveraging mechanics from other third-person adventure games, like Uncharted, and Moss uses a fixed camera angle and strong narrative-focus to hook players. Rescue Mission aims to deliver. You might remember a similar and excellent tech demo experience from that game called Robot Rescue — this is the full version of that concept.
At a recent pre-E3 demo event last month we got to try out the first hands-on demo of Astro Bot and came away impressed with how fun it was and excited to see more. Playroom VR was all about asymmetry, making things that the family could enjoy together.
In , an important change did occur and that was the conversion of the hydraulic logic shifting system over to an electronic one. Mechanically, the transmission’s power transmitting core remained the same, but the valve body and actuation system for the clutches, bands, etc. became controlled by electronic actuators and solenoids.
It imitates the emerging fly and the spinner form. It can imitate any mayfly by simply changing colors and sizes. Pull the wings up and apply floatant for a crippled dun Wings out body stuck in the shuck. Pull wings out flat and it becomes a spinner. Clip most of wing off, trim the tails back, sink it and it becomes a true emerger. A video and materials list is below. Hook — Daiichi or Tiemco fine wire scud hook, 14, 16 and Used for abdomen and tails as well as for fly construction.
Start thread one eye width behind hook eye and build a tight thread body all the way to the vertical on the hook bend. Wrap the thread back on itself as you hold the tag end in your left hand. Leave the tag end for the middle tail. Make Loop in thread and wrap first over.

Pollution resolution If I replace my old diesel car with a less polluting new petrol one, how long will it take for the reduced pollution of the new car to outweigh the increased pollution caused by the manufacture of the new car and the disposal of the old, assuming average usage? It seems such a waste of energy. I read that a supermarket won an award for its two-year-matured puddings.
So, what happens over two years to bring out the flavour?
Higher initial design cost—More design up front is often needed to make a reusable module in the first place, which pays off later with reduced iterative costs. Often bulky and sharp edged— The simplest things to put together are cubic and blocky, so modular products often lack a sleek, streamlined aesthetic.
Edit Gallery From the publisher: Biology influences design projects in many ways; the related discipline is known as biomimetics or biomimicry. Using the animal kingdom as a source of inspiration, Ilaria Mazzoleni seeks to instill a shift in thinking about the application of biological principles to design and architecture. She focuses on the analysis of how organisms have adapted to different environments and translates the learned principles into the built environment.
To illustrate the methodology, Mazzoleni draws inspiration from the diversity of animal coverings, referred to broadly as skin, and applies them to the design of building envelopes through a series of twelve case studies. Skin is a complex organ that performs a multitude of functions; namely, it serves as a link between the body and the environment. Similarly, building envelopes act as interfaces between their inhabitants and external elements.
The resulting architectural designs illustrate an integrative methodology that allows architecture to follow nature. It defines what we do, how we do it, and why we do it. Language is the bedrock of our cultures and societies. As with fish in water, we go about our daily business without paying much attention to the language around us and how it influences us. A completed canvas Object of Play The Semantic Environment Canvas will help you understand the language, rules, and power dynamics that make it possible for people to accomplish their purposes in particular situations—or hinder them from doing so.
Number of Players players. If you have more than six people, consider breaking them into groups and assigning separate environments to each group.

But for Ta-Nehisi Coates, it all comes down to race. Coates spoke to Rachel Martin of Morning Edition about that essay, which will be featured in the Atlantic’s October issue. The conversation focuses on why Coates thinks that Trump’s election was a direct response to having a black man occupy an office that was, up until Barack Obama, “reserved for white men. You don’t buy the argument that Donald Trump’s election was about the white working class in America feeling marginalized from a globalized workforce, from a globalized economy that had left them behind — and that that’s what was animating that demographic.
Well, you know, it’s certainly true that the white working class feels that way. But anybody who wants to make a class-based argument must explain why the black working class, the Latino working class, didn’t break the same way. They are just as afflicted by forces of globalization and economic change, deindustrialization, et cetera. And yet they didn’t break to Trump.
The other thing that has to be explained is why Trump was dominant across nearly every socio-economic sector of white America. It was not simply that he rose on the strength of the white working class. He rose on the strength of all of white America. Some people look at those sectors that you just talked about and say, “Well, they weren’t motivated by race in this” or “They were OK electing and supporting a presidential candidate, whom many believe was propagating racist policies.
I would definitely agree with that.

Few games tap so vividly into that primal urge to watch stuff burn, and few offer so many tools in order to make that happen. I played a few hours of Just Cause 4 last week, and left with three overwhelming impressions: The second is that floating in your wingsuit at the peak of a tornado is one of the most relaxing experiences in video games. The third is that in the hands of a dedicated community, Just Cause 4 could become a kind of Minecraft for carefully-planned violent tomfoolery.
Just Cause 4 is set in a massive, mountainous South American country with four distinct biomes, and really all you need to know about the plot is that Rico is fighting to thwart a private army called the Black Hand.

Title sequence[ edit ] Each title sequence started with a fuse being lit. As the fuse burned across the screen, clips from scenes in the current episode were shown. Throughout the title sequence, only the show’s theme music could be heard. In the fifth season, the series introduced an altered version of the theme, coinciding with episodes featuring Dr. Doug Robert during that season. Doug Robert did not appear in subsequent seasons, altered versions of the theme were used.
The opening title sequences were created for each episode by optical effects artist Howard A. Tape scene[ edit ] Most episodes begin with the leader of the IMF getting the assignment from a hidden tape recorder and an envelope of photos and information that explains the mission. The listener is reminded, “As always, should you or any of your I. Force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.
In some initial episodes, however, self-destructing tapes were created by adding a chemical to the tape and blowing air onto it, forcing the chemical to react by crumbling. This method was abandoned due to cost.
